Top 5 Bollywood Flicks To Catch This May !

1) Gippi

It’s time to relive those precious teenage moments! The moments of friendship, the crazy crushes, the best friends and the arch rivals, the embarrassing moments and the effort to adjust to one’s changing body! After Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti, Varun-Alia-Sid,  it’s finally time for US to finally meet Gippi! Directed by Sonam Nair and starring newcomer Riya Vij, Divya Dutta and Taaha Shah, this film openly discusses things that are generally considered “taboo” for teens to talk about! Gippi releases on 10 May 2013 and is a refreshing coming-of-age story for a 14/15 year old girl. I would be lying if I say the trailer didn’t send me back to my teens – unusual film for Dharma Productions! But when it’s Karan Johar, be sure to expect lots of entertainment. Check out the trailer!

2) Yeh Jawaani Hain Deewani

Possibly the most awaited movie of the month, Ayan Mukherji‘s Yeh Jawaani Hain Deewani hits the theatres on 31 May 2013. I have already talked about how much I loved the trailer here and the refreshing chemistry of ex-lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. What I didn’t tell you was how much I am addicted to Badtameez Dil & Balam Pichkari! Have you heard it yet?

3) Ishkq in Paris

ishqk in paris finally releases

Being a die-hard fan of Preity Zinta, I am so very happy that Ishkq in Paris has finally gotten a release date! The movie which was majorly delayed will finally hit the theatres on 24 May 2013.  Partly because director Prem Soni was battling cancer and partly because Preity couldn’t find a buyer at all, Ishkq in Paris was majorly delayed by over 6 months. Ishkq in Paris stars Rhehan Malliek as the lead hero opposite Preity. Have a look at this new trailer of Ishkq in Paris, and let us know what you think of it. Are you looking forward to this one?

4) Bombay Talkies

bombay talkies

Last night, Twitter was flooded with the number of praises from B’town celebrities of how wonderful this movie was! We also told you how much we’re looking forward to for this one. With critics giving as many as a full 5 stars for this movie, Bombay Talkies celebrates 100 years of Indian Cinema through 4 short films directed by some talented film makers namely Zoya Akthar, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee and Karan Johar. If you love movies and if you are a hindi film junkie like me – you cannot miss this one! Putting up a special song from the film for you guys:

5) Go Goa Gone

go goa gone

Touted as Bollywood’s first Zombie Comedy, Saifu’s Go Goa Gone promises to be a hilarious experience involving 3 friends, a chic and many zombies. Directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK have come together to direct this film. While its music “Raat hain ek wh**e” and “Khoon Choos Le” has become stupendously successful in all clubs and discotheques, we hope the movie turns out to be equally interesting! Check it out :
