It Feels Good To Be Lost In The Right Direction

Hey guys! I’ve missed you all!

I know I’ve been away for a while. I won’t lie but the last week has been challenging. I’ve just been very lost. I don’t have answers to a few questions and I was just taking a bit of time out for myself to reflect on different things. And just as I was browsing my Facebook news feed this morning, I came across a friend’s post – “it feels good to be lost in the right direction”.

I love when life delivers seemingly coincidental, positive messages like that, right when we need them the most.  I am pretty sure that there are millions of people who are fighting the exact same battle alongside me.  I am pretty sure there are people who are experiencing the same emotions.  I know I am not alone in this.

Perhaps for a little while longer, I just have to accept the feeling of not knowing where I am going.  It’s normal to be worried about life, career and relationships. But too often, we feel burdened with obligations & expectations.  It is difficult to keep up with the motivation. To find new energy and strength every day. To chase a big fat dream which may not come true. To hold back the tears no matter how hard it is. To be in love with a person who perhaps does not belong to you. We would remember these moments forever. We’ve all felt these at some point in our lives.

I am good at pretending to be indifferent. But, why is it so difficult to be completely free of all these worries? Why is it so difficult to just let go and laugh? Who said it was going to be easy anyway?  I am not sure if I will arrive at my chosen destination, but the journey definitely feels worth every step.  After all, I’ve plunged headfirst onto this path myself, without a clue as to what will come next. It is scary, believe me! But that is the beauty of this journey. Things might not work out all the time initially but every thing that happens, happens for a reason. I am just hoping it propels me the right way.

To be grateful, have faith and believe that only good can happen! My mantra for the birthday month! And yes, I promise to be back with my usual dose of fashion & filmi news a.s.a.p !

In other news – I’ve been busy preparing for a play for THESPO, the youth-based theatre festival organized by Prithvi Theatre. Will update soon on this!
